After a lengthy development period and a long release candidate period, concrete5 8.2.0 is now available! This is a huge update, with over 175 new features, bug fixes, improvements and updates. It's definitely our largest release for version 8, and one of the biggest releases we've ever done.
We are pleased to announce that release candidate 2 for concrete5 8.2.0 is now available! (Release candidate 1 was actively worked on in GitHub but was never publicly posted to concrete5.org). You can download 8.2.0 RC2 from our downloads page on concrete5.org. We are really excited about 8.2.0 please download it, backup your 5.7 sites and update them, or install 8.2 fresh. A full list of what's changed in this version is available here. Read on for more information, including some important backward compatibility information (especially important if you have Express Form custom templates.)
concrete5 22.214.171.124 is now available! Version 5.6 has been stable for a very long time (the previous version, 126.96.36.199, was released nearly two years ago.) We're forging ahead with exciting updates in version 8, but 5.6 still contains some worthwhile fixes and improvements for legacy sites, including
- Security improvements
- Workflow improvements
- Bug Fixes
- Export Improvements
This last one is a big one; if you have a legacy site and you'd like to migrate it to version 8, the first step is to upgrade it to version 5.6 so you can use the 5.6 legacy migration tool to export your sites. 188.8.131.52 fixes a lot of bugs with that process. You can get the full list of 184.108.40.206 fixes and changes here.
concrete5 8.1.0 is now available. In addition to a bunch of bug fixes and minor improvements, this update adds the ability to the form block to use an existing Express object form, dramatically improves concrete5's time zone support and much more.
Today's the day for a big update! concrete5 8.0.3 is now available, as is 220.127.116.11. 18.104.22.168 is a tiny maintenance release we broke Environment Information again in the last update (sorry!) and this fixes it. 8.0.3 is fixes a number of bugs in 8.0 and is highly recommended for those running 8.0. Check it out!
concrete5 8.0.2 and 22.214.171.124 are now available! This is a pretty small update, but if it fixes issues that you're experiencing you'll be sure to appreciate it! 8.0.2 smooths out more issues with the update process, fixes a bug with Express that made working with Express impossible in 8.0.1, and even adds a little feature to go with our latest Express video.
126.96.36.199 is a tiny release; it fixes an incompatibility in the system environment dashboard screen when installed on PHP versions below 5.4.
Less than a week after 8.0, we have our first point release for concrete5 version 8. 8.0.1 fixes a number of bugs, a couple security issues and incorrect settings. 188.8.131.52 fixes some PHP version incompatibilities, security issues. Both are highly recommended; if you're running 5.7, grab 184.108.40.206 straight away. If you're on version 8, 8.0.1 is what you want.
