Core Releases

Our latest release is out the door. Tread lightly with this one, especially if you're upgrading older sites: we've added a LOT!

This release includes a massively upgraded file manager, improvements to the scrapbook, global block support, enhancements to the form block (including file upload support), a much improved help system, a speedier sitemap, lots of improvements to how we handle integrating with our marketplace, and much more.

As always, please give the latest C5 release a spin. Download it from SourceForge here.

Click here for release notes. We're pretty proud of this one. Due to some of the improvements (caching, customizable themes, marketplace integration, lots of bug fixes) we're anticipating a little bit of bugginess on this, which is why we're not quite ready to call this 5.2 stable. We'd really love everybody's help getting it rock solid, so test it out if you can.

Additionally, updated language packs for French, German and Danish are available for download from SourceForge.

We've just released version 5.0.0 of Concrete. While we've been happy with the stability of C5 over the past few months, we've been fixing security issues, issues with certain system configurations, and trying to make the installation and configuration of the system even more elegant. Here's what's been changed in the latest and greatest:

Well we still have a long way to go before I'd call it a polished product that didn't have a lot of lose ends, but the whole thing is stable and the important bits are working well. The UI has also settled down so it really feels like cleanup time to us. We're launching concrete5.org to try to drum up some help from the open source development community as I type. Sadly there's nothing for me to do but bug people about getting C's in the right cases right now, so I'm posting here so my team will stop scowling at me.

concrete5.org is live! yay, tell your developer friends.
