It turns out Concrete CMS 8.5.8 contained some bugs that can make it difficult to upload files using some of the internal tools, and inadvertently makes the CMS require PHP 5.6+ (instead of 5.5.9). We regret the error – here's a fix.

8.5.9 offers some important fixes for those who upgraded to version 8.5.8. Additionally, to anyone using an earlier version of Concrete CMS 8, 8.5.9 is highly recommended for its behavioral improvements, bug fixes and security fixes. For the full release notes, click below.
